Damascus, Syria 09/07/2005

In the exhibitions hall of the newspaper Al Baath, was inaugurated an exhibition of Cuban serigraphy, composed by 36 works of painting acquaintances of different times and styles that shows the wealth and coloring of the school of the Cuban painting in its group.

In this inauguration, were present the Director of the newspaper Al  Baath, mister Elias Murat, the Ambassador  of the Republic of Cuba mister  Claudio Ramos, officials of the Ministry of Culture, members of the credited diplomatic corps in Syria, journalists, members of the Cuban community resident in Damascus and  public in general. This exhibition is part of the program of activities dedicated to commemorate the 51 anniversary of the 26 Th of July. And which will include the presentation of an exhibition of pictures of the Cuban Revolution in the city of Aleppo and a patriotic culture act in that city.

The channel 2 of the Syrian TV transmitted images of the inauguration of the exposition of serigraphy and an interview to the Cuban Ambassador.
