Wide highlights have given the
Syrian National Media to the visit made for the
personnel of the Embassy of Cuba in Damascus to
the grave of the extinct president Hafez Al Assad
in the town of Qaddaha, Latakia in the north of
the country.
The personnel headed for the
Cuban ambassador Claudio Ramos Borrego, deposited
a floral offering and surrendered homage with a
minute of silence before the missing leader's
grave. In an encounter with the director of the
brief, the Cuban ambassador expressed that this
visit constitutes an act of reaffirmation of our
friendship, solidarity and support to the brother
Syrian people in moments that it is more
threatened than ever for the Yanki imperialism and
its allies.
The news was published in the
newspapers “Teshreen”, “Syria times” and “Al Baath”
and it was also diffused by the journalist of
national TV of the half-day of Saturday 26 and in
the journalists of Saturday and on Sunday of radio
Damascus international.
