Damascus, Syria. The forty anniversary of the
establishment of the diplomatic relations between
Syria and Cuba, was commemorated in an act
celebrated in the ambassador's residence of Cuba
in this capital.attended the activity the minister
of industry Mohammad Ghasan Tayara, Mr. Youssef
Souleiman Al Ahmed, minister of state for the
administrative reformation, the general secretary
of the SCP Yousef Feisal, Adnan Bagdache, depute,
General Ali Ahmed, head of external relationships
of the ministry of defence, Mohamed Yasmina head
of the department of international relationships
of the Baath Party, deputies, officials of diverse
ministries, academic, managers tied to the
business with Cuba, representatives of the press
and graduated in Cuban universities.
The
Ambassador of Cuba Claudio Ramos, in his
speech, highlighted the historical ties of
friendship and knitted collaboration during long
years and based in the coincidence among both
political addresses in the defence of the causes
of the people in his fight for the liberation and
the exercise of the full independence.
The
president's picture Bachar Al Assad, of the
deceased President Hafez Al Assad and of the
Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, presided this
celebration.
