DAMASCUS, (SANA)- The meeting between Information Minister Dr. Mohsen Bilal and a delegation of the Cuban-Arab Friendship Association headed by Dr. Rodrigo José Alvarez Cambras on Sunday concentrated on the relations between the two countries, particularly in the media fields.

"The Syrian-Cuban relations are ancient and deep-rooted and have witnessed a remarkable development," Bilal said, asserting Syria's solidarity with Cuban people in the face of the American siege imposed on them.

For his part, Alvares Cambras underlined his country's support to Syria and her right to restore the occupied Syrian Golan, and the Israeli full withdrawal to the June 4th, 1967 lines.

Regarding the Syrian-Cuban relations Alvares said that the relations between the two countries are excellent in all domains, particularly in the common struggle against Zionism represented by Israel.
